Siem Offshore Contractors GmbH (SOC) is an experienced submarine cable installation, repair and maintenance contractor serving the worldwide offshore renewable energy and oil and gas industries, meeting the highest industry standards for quality, health, safety and environmental protection.
SOC is a German company with its head office situated in the City of Leer / East Frisia and was formed in 2003. Since 2011 SOC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Siem Offshore Inc. (SIOFF), a Norwegian stock-listed company. The combined capabilities of SIOFF’s marine operations and the engineering and installation experience of SOC hereby form a natural and strong resource base to the benefit of the project. Resources such as installation, trenching, survey and diving support vessels – if not available in-house – are sourced on a project specific basis, enabling SOC to provide the most suitable technical and economic solution to its clients.
